Hawa Mahal
Palace of winds means Hawa Mahal, build with red and pink sandstone built in 1799, by the Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, grandson of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the founder of the city of Jhunjhunu in the state of Rajasthan. Its five-floor exterior is akin to a honeycomb with its 953 small windows. Hawa Mahal from the street view and think it is the front of the palace, but it is the back.
Jal Mahal
Water Palace means Jal Mahal, built in around 1699 which was later enlarged by Maharaj Jai Singh II of Amber in 18th Century. Palace is located in middle of Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur.
City Palace
City Palace is one of the famous tourist attraction and landmark in Jaipur. It now houses the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum, and continues to be the home of the Jaipur royal family. The palace complex has several buildings, various courtyards, galleries, restaurants, and offices of the Museum Trust.
Amer Fort
Amer Fort located in Amer on high hill and is located at a distance about 11 km from the main city, built in 1592 by Man Singh I. Amer Fort is known for its artistic style elements. Fort overlooks Maota lake main source of water for Amer Palace. Amer Palace is great example of Rajput architecture.
Jantar Mantar
The Jantar Mantar, Jaipur is a collection of Nineteen astronomical instruments built by the Rajput Sawai Jai Singh.The monument was completed in 1734. Located near City Palace and Hawa Mahal. The instruments allow the observation of astronomical positions with the naked eye. The monument expresses architectural innovations, as well as the coming together of ideas from different religious and social beliefs in 18th century India.
Albert Hall Museum
The Albert Hall Museum in Jaipur is the oldest museum of the state and functions as the state museum and it was considered as one of the best museums for variety of collections in Nineteenth century. Also, known as Government Central Museum. The building is situated in Ram Niwas Garden outside the city wall opposite New gate and is a fine example of Indo – Saracenic architecture.
